DESCRIPTION
The Laboratory of Thermal Storage (LAT) is dedicated to research and teaching activities in the Thermofluids area of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at USACH. LAT employs different techniques to characterize solids and fluids thermophysics, which are mainly used in thermal storage and energy efficiency applications. Computer simulation tools are also implemented to assess materials and processes in thermal constructions and systems. LAT aims to become a reference in the thermal field at the national level, offering scientific collaboration opportunities and services for institutions and companies.
