DESCRIPTION
The research of our group covers the fields of Organic Chemistry and Physical Organic Chemistry. Our team employes a synthesis methodology for the development of dyes able to detect changes in the microenvironment of homogeneous and microstructured media. The objective of the laboratory is to establish a structure-behavior relationship for the solvatochromism phenomenon in absorption and emission, that allows for an accurate design of the spectral properties of new chemical sensors.
