DESCRIPTION
The laboratory is dedicated to the study of cellular signaling associated with the activation of immune cells, especially of NK cells and their effect on immunometabolism. It is focused on the cellular mechanisms behind immune dysfunction during aging and in pathologies like cancer to generate new strategies for immunotherapy. The laboratory also collaborates with other groups in the developing of new biotechnological solutions for improvements in the animal production industry, particularly in salmon cultures.
