DESCRIPTION
This R&D unit aims to organize academic groups working on the food research line; optimize the use of human and material resources that USACH allocates for this purpose; contribute to solving problems of national interest within its scope of action; foster outreach to national and international organizations; promote technical assistance and provide services in its areas of competence.

- LabTech LSI-3016R Orbital agitator. Equipment to agitate microbial cultures.
- HTX – BioTek Synergy microplate reader, 2008. Equipment for OD, luminescence and fluorescence measurements in microcultures
- Heraeus Megafuge 8R – ThermoFisher centrifuge, 2017. Equipment to centrifuge samples.
- 2720 Thermal Cycler – Applied Biosystems, 2017. Equipment to conduct PCR.
