DESCRIPTION
The Laboratory of Comparative Immunology conducts functional and comparative studies of the immune system of salmonids based on traditional cellular and molecular techniques. The laboratory focuses on the application of this knowledge to the industry and, in the in the medium term, the implementation of elements to improve animal health in production systems.

- Agilent SureCycle 8800 thermocycler, 2016. Basic equipment for PCR applications.
- Nuaire laminar air flow Hood, 2017. Used for cell culture and PCR.
- BD Biosciences Accuri flow cytometer ,2019; FACSCantoII flow cytometer, 2018; FACSMelody Cell Sorter, 2022. Equipment for cell phenotyping and classification. Routine basic and advanced equipment necessary in any immunology laboratory.
- Thermos Countess 3 FL Automatic cell counter.
