En el caso de la vid, este hongo produce la pudrici\u00f3n del racimo, lo cual impacta en p\u00e9rdidas econ\u00f3micas de hasta un diecinueve por ciento, en un mercado que supera los mil trescientos millones de pesos anuales.<br><br>Hoy los m\u00e9todos de control utilizados contra el Botrytis Cin\u00e9rea, est\u00e1n basados esencialmente en la utilizaci\u00f3n de fungicidas qu\u00edmicos sint\u00e9ticos. Sin embargo, \u00e9stos presentan algunas desventajas como la aparici\u00f3n de cepas f\u00fangicas resistentes y una potencial toxicidad que afecta a vegetales, animales y humanos<br><br>Para abordar esta problem\u00e1tica, la Universidad de Santiago de Chile, a trav\u00e9s del trabajo de su investigador, el Dr. Antonio Castillo, se ha puesto como desaf\u00edo tecnol\u00f3gico, la creaci\u00f3n de un biofungicida multibacteriano para el control del Botrytis Cin\u00e9rea, en vides de mesa.<br><br>Se trata de un producto diferente a los existentes en el mercado, cuyo compuesto activo corresponde a tres cepas bacterianas silvestres que secretan mol\u00e9culas antif\u00fangicas Esta tecnolog\u00eda ha sido desarrollada gracias al financiamiento de ANID, a trav\u00e9s de su concurso FONDEF IDeA y la colaboraci\u00f3n de Bioinsumos Nativa como empresa asociada.<br><br>Objetivos del proyecto<br><br>1. Confirmar la eficacia del biofungicida tri-bacteriano, basado en Stenotrophomonas rhizophila, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens y Pseudomonas protegens, para el control de B. cinerea, determinada in vivo a nivel de laboratorio y a nivel de campo en uva de mesa variedad Timco. Toxicidad y Registro.<br><br>2. Evaluar eficacia de los biofungicidas multibacterianos (dos pares y dos tr\u00edos) a nivel de laboratorio in vitro e in vivo, para el control de especies f\u00fangicas de Colletotrichum, Neofabraea y Botrytis que infectan paltos, manzanos y cerezos, respectivamente.<br><br>3. Evaluar la eficacia de los biofungicidas multibacterianos (un par o un tr\u00edo) en el control de especies de Neofabraea, y Botrytis en manzanos y cerezos, respectivamente, a nivel de campo y post cosecha.<br><br>Resultado principal<br><br>El principal resultado de producci\u00f3n es un biofungicida multibacteriano, con alta eficacia para el control de la pudrici\u00f3n gris causada por B. cinerea, cuyo principio activo corresponde a tres cepas bacterianas silvestres de las especies: Stenotrophomonas rhizophila, Pseudomonas protegens y Bacillus amyloliquefaciens.<br><br>Atributos diferenciadores:<br><br>\u2022 Principio activo constituido por tres cepas bacterianas de distintas especies<br>\u2022 Mayor diversidad de mol\u00e9culas secretadas<br>\u2022 Mayor diversidad de mecanismos de acci\u00f3n<br>\u2022 Actividad antif\u00fangica sin\u00e9rgica<br>\u2022 Mayor eficacia que los productos basados en una cepa bacteriana<br>\u2022 Menor posibilidad de selecci\u00f3n de
