La investigaci\u00f3n fue apoyada por nuestra Direcci\u00f3n de Gesti\u00f3n Tecnol\u00f3gica de la Vridei.<\/b><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-37e073cb\" data-id=\"37e073cb\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-54aa25 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"54aa25\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Con la exposici\u00f3n de los principales resultados y avances obtenidos, el martes 17 de enero se efectu\u00f3 el evento de cierre del proyecto FONDEF IDeA ID15I20589 <\/span><b>&#8220;Caracterizaci\u00f3n y dise\u00f1o de nuevos biofungicidas bacterianos para el control de la Pudrici\u00f3n Gris del Racimo en vides de mesa y vin\u00edferas, causada por el hongo fitopat\u00f3geno<\/b><b><i> Botrytis cinerea<\/i><\/b><b>&#8220;.<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La iniciativa fue liderada por el <strong>Dr. Antonio Castillo<\/strong>, acad\u00e9mico e investigador de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quimicaybiologia.usach.cl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facultad de Qu\u00edmica y Biolog\u00eda<\/a>, teniendo como Directora Alterna a la <strong>Dra. Andrea Mahn<\/strong>, acad\u00e9mica, investigadora y vicedecana de Investigaci\u00f3n, Desarrollo, Innovaci\u00f3n y Postgrado de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fing.usach.cl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-8578 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/vriic.usach.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/image-32-e1674136106973-1024x476.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"476\" \/><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Asimismo, el desarrollo tecnol\u00f3gico fue financiado por <strong>ANID<\/strong>, a trav\u00e9s de su concurso <strong>FONDEF IDeA<\/strong> y cont\u00f3 con la colaboraci\u00f3n de <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bionativa.cl\/web\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bio Insumos Nativa<\/a> como empresa asociada. Adem\u00e1s, fue apoyada por nuestra Vicerrector\u00eda de Investigaci\u00f3n, Desarrollo e Innovaci\u00f3n (<a href=\"http:\/\/vridei.usach.cl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">VRIDEI<\/a>), a trav\u00e9s de su Direcci\u00f3n de Gesti\u00f3n Tecnol\u00f3gica (<a href=\"http:\/\/dgt.usach.cl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DGT<\/a>).<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Al inici\u00f3 de la actividad, <strong>Rodrigo Morgado<\/strong>, Director de la DGT, dio la bienvenida\u00a0 a los presentes y respecto al proyecto, destac\u00f3 la importancia de poder vincularse con la industria. Enfatiz\u00f3 que \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">parte de la misi\u00f3n de la Direcci\u00f3n es apoyar el ecosistema interno de la Universidad, que permita transferir los resultados de la investigaci\u00f3n a las empresas para aplicarlos y beneficiar a nuestra sociedad\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><h6><b>Problem\u00e1tica y desaf\u00edo i+D+i<\/b><\/h6><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tras esta intervenci\u00f3n, el <strong>Dr. Antonio Castillo<\/strong>, se refiri\u00f3 a los principales aspectos relacionados con el desarrollo de la investigaci\u00f3n, la cual tuvo por reto generar un producto capaz de controlar el <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Botrytis cinerea, <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">un<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">hongo fitopat\u00f3geno causante de la enfermedad \u201cPudrici\u00f3n Gris\u201d en diversas especies vegetales, entre ellos la vid.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De acuerdo al investigador, uno de los problemas que se presenta en el control del fitopat\u00f3geno, es el uso de fungicidas qu\u00edmicos sint\u00e9ticos, los cuales tienen ciertas desventajas como la aparici\u00f3n de cepas f\u00fangicas resistentes y una potencial toxicidad que afecta a vegetales, animales y humanos.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ante esta problem\u00e1tica, el equipo de investigaci\u00f3n logr\u00f3 crear un biofungicida multibacteriano para el control de <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Botrytis Cinerea<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> en vides de mesa,\u00a0 que se caracteriza por por ser un producto diferente a los existentes en el mercado, cuyo compuesto activo corresponde a tres cepas bacterianas silvestres que secretan mol\u00e9culas antif\u00fangicas.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Para conseguirlo, dijo que\u00a0 se busc\u00f3 \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">caracterizar tanto las cepas bacterianas que son antagonistas del hongo, como las mol\u00e9culas secretadas por estas mismas\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,\u00a0 las que poseen capacidades fungicidas.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><h6><b>Principales resultados obtenidos\u00a0<\/b><\/h6><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Otro aspecto que resalt\u00f3 el Dr. Antonio Castillo, fue la formulaci\u00f3n del producto para cada cepa bacteriana y los positivos resultados en las pruebas efectuadas. A nivel de ensayos de laboratorio, se comprob\u00f3 la eficacia del biofungicida tribacteriano en manzanas, cerezas, hojas de cerezas y uvas, en donde se \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">logr\u00f3 inhibir completamente el hongo, durante 12 d\u00edas de incubaci\u00f3n<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d,entre otras conclusiones sobre el estudio.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-8579 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/vriic.usach.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/image-33-e1674136127589-1024x442.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"442\" \/><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En ensayos de campo, donde se trabaj\u00f3 con Bio Insumos Nativa, tambi\u00e9n se logr\u00f3 controlar el <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Botrytis Cinerea <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">en variedades de vides, cerezos, ar\u00e1ndanos y manzanos, pudiendo <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201creducir significativamente los s\u00edntomas generados por el pat\u00f3geno\u201d,<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> y adem\u00e1s, los productos evaluados no mostraron efectos fitot\u00f3xicos. En cuanto a ensayos toxicol\u00f3gicos en especies animales, la mortalidad fue cero.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Asimismo, se realiz\u00f3 la producci\u00f3n del biofungicida a escala piloto, logrando <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cun producto inocuo en huerto y que ha sido validado a nivel de laboratorio, dejando este desarrollo tecnol\u00f3gico en una escala TLR 6 o 7\u201d <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a\u00f1adi\u00f3 el acad\u00e9mico.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Por \u00faltimo, el investigador se\u00f1al\u00f3 que entre los beneficios que proporciona el biofungicida creado en la USACH, est\u00e1n aportar al mercado de los fungicidas con una soluci\u00f3n inocua para el medioambiente y las personas.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><h6><b>Transferencia tecnol\u00f3gica\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/h6><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En la actualidad, esta tecnolog\u00eda USACH se encuentra con patente concedida en Chile, tr\u00e1mite que fue apoyado por nuestra Direcci\u00f3n de Gesti\u00f3n Tecnol\u00f3gica de la Vridei, y se proyecta pueda ser transferida a Bio Insumos Nativa para su producci\u00f3n y comercializaci\u00f3n,<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Al cierre de este evento, <strong>Eduardo Donoso<\/strong>, representante de Bio Insumos Nativa, empresa biotecnol\u00f3gica presente en 8 pa\u00edses, dedicada al desarrollo, producci\u00f3n y comercializaci\u00f3n de insumos agr\u00edcolas org\u00e1nicos, manifest\u00f3 que <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cestamos muy interesados en estos proyectos, en donde la tendencia del mercado es el uso de productos sin residuos
