Esta tecnolog\u00eda se encuentra patentada en Chile, cuyo tr\u00e1mite fue apoyado por la Direcci\u00f3n de Gesti\u00f3n Tecnol\u00f3gica de la Vridei.<\/b><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-4937f627\" data-id=\"4937f627\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-19f37cfc elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"19f37cfc\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Una de las metas trazadas en el <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/es\/climatechange\/paris-agreement\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Acuerdo de Par\u00eds de 2015<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, que firmaron 193 pa\u00edses m\u00e1s la Uni\u00f3n Europea, fue disminuir \u201csustancialmente\u201d las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero para limitar el aumento de la temperatura global.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En la pr\u00e1ctica, implica buscar otras alternativas energ\u00e9ticas y depender cada vez menos de los combustibles f\u00f3siles como el gas, carb\u00f3n o petr\u00f3leo. Todo ello, es clave para evitar los efectos adversos del cambio clim\u00e1tico en el planeta.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entre las posibilidades de nuevas energ\u00edas no contaminantes, se encuentra la producci\u00f3n y uso de c\u00e1todos de celdas combustibles, que se generan mediante un proceso electroqu\u00edmico denominado reacci\u00f3n de reducci\u00f3n de ox\u00edgeno (RRO).\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sin embargo, para el funcionamiento de las celdas de combustible se requieren catalizadores de platino (Pt), metal que es poco abundante y de alto costo, por lo cual su uso limita la producci\u00f3n masiva de este tipo de dispositivos.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Para aportar en esos desaf\u00edos, un equipo de investigaci\u00f3n Universidad de Santiago liderado por el <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.quimicaybiologia.usach.cl\/academico\/tasca-gottardo-federico\/crear-persona\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dr. Federico Tasca<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, acad\u00e9mico e investigador de la <strong>Facultad de Qu\u00edmica y Biolog\u00eda USACH<\/strong>, desarroll\u00f3 catalizadores para la reducci\u00f3n de ox\u00edgeno, compuesto por nanotubos de carbono y metaloftalocianinas coordinadas mediante piridinas. Adem\u00e1s, cre\u00f3 m\u00e9todos de preparaci\u00f3n y uso de catalizadores en celdas de combustible.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2815 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/dgt.usach.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/energias-limpias-celdas-energia-1-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De acuerdo al investigador, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201clos catalizadores desarrollados presentan gran utilidad en reacciones de reducci\u00f3n de ox\u00edgeno. Por tanto, su importancia deriva en la conversi\u00f3n de energ\u00eda, ya que es esta la reacci\u00f3n que se produce en el c\u00e1todo de las celdas combustibles\u201d.<\/span><\/i><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entre los beneficios m\u00e1s destacados de la invenci\u00f3n est\u00e1n poder <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cproducir un catalizador muy eficiente y de bajo costo para la reacci\u00f3n de reducci\u00f3n de ox\u00edgeno eficiente, lo cual puede impactar en el desarrollo a gran escala de celdas combustibles y de esta manera, generar energ\u00edas no contaminantes que a futuro, puedan ser utilizadas en los hogares, oficinas e industrias\u201d.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En la actualidad, esta tecnolog\u00eda USACH se encuentra con <strong>patente concedida en Chile<\/strong>, tr\u00e1mite apoyado por nuestra\u00a0 Direcci\u00f3n de Gesti\u00f3n Tecnol\u00f3gica de la
