Esta tecnolog\u00eda ya cuenta con patente de invenci\u00f3n, tramitaci\u00f3n\u00a0 que fue apoyada por la Direcci\u00f3n de Gesti\u00f3n Tecnol\u00f3gica<\/b><b>.<\/b><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-10eff219 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"10eff219\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"field field-name-post-date field-type-ds field-label-hidden\"><div class=\"field-items\"><div class=\"field-item even\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La automatizaci\u00f3n, el uso de inteligencia artificial y la integraci\u00f3n de sensores se posicionan como herramientas clave para avanzar hacia una industria minera m\u00e1s eficiente y sostenible.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entre los procesos cr\u00edticos\u00a0 asociados a las faenas se encuentra la conminuci\u00f3n, es decir, la reducci\u00f3n del tama\u00f1o del material rocoso para su procesamiento. Esta etapa es especialmente compleja, ya que la presencia de rocas sobredimensionadas puede generar bloqueos en m\u00e1quinas chancadoras y parrillas, afectando la producci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Para abordar este desaf\u00edo, el Dr. John Kern Molina, acad\u00e9mico del <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/die.usach.cl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Departamento de Ingenier\u00eda El\u00e9ctrica<\/b><\/a><b> de la <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/fing.usach.cl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda<\/b><\/a><b>, lider\u00f3 el desarrollo de un sistema robotizado inteligente para la identificaci\u00f3n, seguimiento e impacto selectivo de rocas en procesos de conminuci\u00f3n, previos al chancado primario. En este trabajo tambi\u00e9n participaron los investigadores de la misma Facultad, Dr. Claudio Urrea, Dr. Guillermo Gonz\u00e1lez y Dr. Harold Potter.<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El Dr. John Kern Molina explica que la innovaci\u00f3n, denominada Rocafit-ML, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cconsiste en un kit acoplable que puede instalarse, tanto en maquinarias del tipo martillos pica-roca nuevas como en equipos ya operativos. El sistema utiliza una fusi\u00f3n de sensores multimodales avanzada \u2014incluyendo visi\u00f3n 3D duplex, visi\u00f3n t\u00e9rmica, radar LiDAR y sensor de part\u00edculas\u2014, junto con algoritmos de inteligencia artificial y reconstrucci\u00f3n volum\u00e9trica para operar de forma aut\u00f3noma, en ambientes complejos y de baja visibilidad\u201d.<\/span><\/i><\/p><p><b>De esa manera, se entrega soluci\u00f3n a \u201c<\/b><b><i>los atascos en chancadores y parrillas, que son producidos por enormes rocas provenientes de la tronadura, debido a los factores estoc\u00e1sticos del mineral. Esto genera tiempos de inactividad altamente perjudiciales para la continuidad del proceso de conminuci\u00f3n\u201d<\/i><\/b><b>, enfatiza el acad\u00e9mico.<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Agrega que \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">al automatizar las maquinarias, se mejora la continuidad del proceso, la eficiencia energ\u00e9tica y se reduce el desgaste de los equipos, extendiendo su vida \u00fatil. Adem\u00e1s, se aumenta la seguridad, ya que elimina la necesidad de que las y los operarios est\u00e9n expuestos a entornos peligrosos,\u00a0 con part\u00edculas en suspensi\u00f3n, ruido y riesgos de impacto de rocas\u201d.<\/span><\/i><\/p><p><b>Asimismo, destaca que este desarrollo representa una innovaci\u00f3n en relaci\u00f3n a las tecnolog\u00edas presentes en la industria minera nacional.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Si bien existen soluciones comerciales de teleoperaci\u00f3n y automatizaci\u00f3n, la mayor\u00eda depende de la intervenci\u00f3n humana y carece de sistemas de fusi\u00f3n sensorial avanzada para operar en condiciones extremas de baja visibilidad\u201d.<\/span><\/i><\/p><h2><b>Patentamiento y escalamiento<\/b><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recientemente, esta tecnolog\u00eda Usach obtuvo patente en Chile, tramitaci\u00f3n que fue apoyada por el equipo de la <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dgt.usach.cl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Direcci\u00f3n de Gesti\u00f3n Tecnol\u00f3gica<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> de la <a href=\"https:\/\/vriic.usach.cl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">V<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">icerrector\u00eda de Investigaci\u00f3n , Innovaci\u00f3n y Creaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El Dr. John Kern subraya que la protecci\u00f3n de la propiedad intelectual de este sistema robotizado <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201ces fundamental para asegurar la exclusividad y originalidad de una soluci\u00f3n creada en una universidad p\u00fablica y garantizar que el conocimiento avanzado generado por el equipo de investigadores de la Usach tenga un respaldo legal s\u00f3lido para su escalamiento industrial y comercializaci\u00f3n\u201d.<\/span><\/i><\/p><p><b>Actualmente, el proyecto avanza hacia validaciones industriales en entornos reales equivalentes a un TRL 6, \u201c<\/b><b><i>con el objetivo de consolidarse como una soluci\u00f3n clave para la modernizaci\u00f3n y
