Su ejecuci\u00f3n en nuestro Plantel, fue apoyada por la Vicerrector\u00eda de Investigaci\u00f3n, Innovaci\u00f3n y Creaci\u00f3n, a trav\u00e9s de su Direcci\u00f3n de Gesti\u00f3n Tecnol\u00f3gica.<\/b><\/h6>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-38f3d4b7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"38f3d4b7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"field field-name-post-date field-type-ds field-label-hidden\"><div class=\"field-items\"><div class=\"field-item even\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El uso de plaguicidas es clave para la productividad agr\u00edcola, pero su aplicaci\u00f3n inadecuada conlleva riesgos para la salud humana, el medioambiente y la calidad de la producci\u00f3n, por lo cual se requieren nuevas soluciones.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Frente a esta necesidad, un equipo de investigaci\u00f3n interdisciplinario\u00a0 e intersectorial trabaj\u00f3 colaborativamente en el <\/span><b>proyecto Fondef ID23I10326 \u201cDesarrollo de un dispositivo port\u00e1til para la detecci\u00f3n \/ identificaci\u00f3n de plaguicidas: control de calidad por medio de la generaci\u00f3n de una huella \u00f3ptica\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, cuyos resultados fueron presentados en el seminario de cierre de la iniciativa, realizado este martes 26 de agosto, en el auditorio INIA La Platina.<\/span><\/p><p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cEsta investigaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 plenamente alineada con la misi\u00f3n de nuestra Universidad como instituci\u00f3n p\u00fablica: aportar con ciencia, innovaci\u00f3n y formaci\u00f3n de capital humano al desarrollo sostenible del pa\u00eds\u201d, s<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ostuvo al inicio del evento, el <\/span><b>Dr. Sebasti\u00e1n Allende, investigador del <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/cedenna.cl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Centro\u00a0 de Nanociencia y\u00a0 Nanotecnolog\u00eda (CEDENNA)<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, en la <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.usach.cl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Universidad de Santiago<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><h2><b>Resultados y alcances<\/b><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El objetivo fue desarrollar un dispositivo port\u00e1til para la cuantificaci\u00f3n e identificaci\u00f3n de plaguicidas, mediante el procesamiento de se\u00f1ales \u00f3pticas, asegurando los niveles adecuados de aplicaci\u00f3n seg\u00fan la etiqueta del producto comercial.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tras dos a\u00f1os de trabajo, el equipo de investigaci\u00f3n logr\u00f3 generar un prototipo de la tecnolog\u00eda, \u00fanica en su tipo en Chile, con potencial de escalamiento, transferencia e impacto en el sector frut\u00edcola nacional.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las exposiciones sobre el trabajo y sus resultados estuvieron a cargo del<\/span><b> Dr. Rafael Melo, investigador <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucentral.cl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>UCEN<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, quien present\u00f3 la experiencia previa y el desarrollo de se\u00f1ales \u00f3pticas aplicadas a la detecci\u00f3n de plaguicidas, y del <\/span><b>Dr. \u00c1lvaro Espejo, investigador CEDENNA y acad\u00e9mico <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.udp.cl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>UDP<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, que abord\u00f3 la ejecuci\u00f3n\u00a0 y el prototipado.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La <\/span><b>Dra. Danae Riquelme, directora del proyecto e investigadora de <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inia.cl\/la-platina\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>INIA La Platina<\/b><\/a><b>,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> destac\u00f3 que una de las grandes innovaciones logradas fue la portabilidad. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cLa industria agr\u00edcola realiza cuantificaciones con instrumentos costosos o procesos de titulaci\u00f3n que requieren insumos qu\u00edmicos y tiempo, entre otros. Esto podr\u00eda cambiar gracias al avance de esta tecnolog\u00eda, que puede reducir los costos, permite monitorear distintas l\u00edneas dentro de una planta y disminuir la exposici\u00f3n de los operarios a los plaguicidas\u201d, <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">se\u00f1al\u00f3.<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Otros beneficios que puede aportar son identificar plaguicidas en mezclas listas para aplicaci\u00f3n, asegurar concentraciones adecuadas seg\u00fan etiqueta, entregar un an\u00e1lisis de bajo costo y f\u00e1cil uso gracias a una interfaz amigable, y permitir acciones correctivas inmediatas.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La <\/span><b>Dra. Dora Altbir, directora de la Fundaci\u00f3n CEDENNA <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">y parte inicial del equipo del proyecto, indic\u00f3 que <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201clos resultados alcanzados son tremendamente positivos. En solo 24 meses fue posible dise\u00f1ar y construir un equipo que ya entrega los primeros resultados. Esperamos optimizar el equipo en los pr\u00f3ximos dos a\u00f1os, y ofrecer as\u00ed esta herramienta de gran utilidad para la industria frut\u00edcola nacional\u201d.<\/span><\/i><\/p><h2><b>Ciencia aplicada y colaboraci\u00f3n\u00a0<\/b><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La labor conjunta entre investigadores e investigadoras de disciplinas como f\u00edsica, ingenier\u00eda, an\u00e1lisis de datos, qu\u00edmica y agronom\u00eda fue uno de los aspectos m\u00e1s valorados de la iniciativa.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En este contexto, <\/span><b>Gabriel Raffo, director del Centro Regional de Investigaci\u00f3n INIA La Platina<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, afirm\u00f3 que la propuesta <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201ces un ejemplo concreto de c\u00f3mo la ciencia aplicada puede generar impacto directo en la producci\u00f3n, la industria y los consumidores\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0 Agreg\u00f3\u00a0 que lo que <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201choy presentamos, confirma que el conocimiento colaborativo es la herramienta m\u00e1s poderosa que tenemos para enfrentar los desaf\u00edos de la agricultura y asegurar el futuro de nuestros alimentos\u201d.<\/span><\/i><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Por su parte, <\/span><b>Carlos Ladrix, subdirector de Investigaci\u00f3n Aplicada de <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/anid.cl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>ANID<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> recalc\u00f3 que los proyectos Fondef no s\u00f3lo buscan generar resultados tecnol\u00f3gicos transferibles al mercado, sino tambi\u00e9n formar capital humano especializado. En esa l\u00ednea, subray\u00f3 que uno de los logros fue \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">la formaci\u00f3n de j\u00f3venes en materia de investigaci\u00f3n, que finalmente mira el mercado o el beneficio p\u00fablico de la sociedad\u201d.<\/span><\/i><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En tanto, el Dr. Sebasti\u00e1n Allende, puntualiz\u00f3 que <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cla diversidad de perspectivas y competencias, permiti\u00f3 enfrentar con mayor solidez los desaf\u00edos que surgieron, otorgando mayor consistencia, profundidad y proyecci\u00f3n a los resultados alcanzados\u201d.<\/span><\/i><\/p><h2><b>Otras exposiciones<\/b><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cabe destacar, que la jornada tambi\u00e9n consider\u00f3 otras presentaciones que abordaron aspectos relevantes dentro de la etapa postcosecha de la producci\u00f3n frut\u00edcola.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b>Edgar \u00c1lvarez, profesional de INIA La Platina<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> se refiri\u00f3 a la fisiolog\u00eda de los c\u00edtricos en cuanto manejo y vulnerabilidad; mientras que <\/span><b>\u00d3scar Becerra, General Manager de <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.deccopostharvest.com\/cl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>DECCO<\/b><\/a> <b>Mercosur<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">present\u00f3 los desaf\u00edos tecnol\u00f3gicos\u00a0 y la <\/span><b>Dra.
