La iniciativa fue financiada por ANID, cont\u00f3 con la colaboraci\u00f3n de las empresas Foremin y Dipper Parts, m\u00e1s el apoyo de\u00a0 la Direcci\u00f3n de Gesti\u00f3n Tecnol\u00f3gica de la Vriic.<\/b><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3caa021e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3caa021e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Este lunes 14 de abril se presentaron los resultados del proyecto<\/span><b> Fondef &#8220;Monitoreo remoto de desgaste en GET de palas mineras&#8221;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, liderado por el Dr. Sebasti\u00e1n Allende, investigador de la <a href=\"https:\/\/fciencia.usach.cl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facultad de Ciencia<\/a> y del <a href=\"https:\/\/cedenna.cl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Centro para el Desarrollo de la Nanociencia y la Nanotecnolog\u00eda<\/a> (Cedenna).<\/span><\/p><p><strong>En la iniciativa participaron las empresas <a href=\"https:\/\/foremin.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Foremin<\/a> y Dipper Parts, y cont\u00f3 con el apoyo de la Vicerrector\u00eda de Investigaci\u00f3n, Innovaci\u00f3n y Creaci\u00f3n (Vriic), a trav\u00e9s de su Direcci\u00f3n de Gesti\u00f3n Tecnol\u00f3gica (DGT).<\/strong><\/p><p>La actividad congreg\u00f3 la participaci\u00f3n del Dr. Alberto Monsalve, Vicerrector de Investigaci\u00f3n, Innovaci\u00f3n y Creaci\u00f3n e integrantes del \u00e1rea ejecutiva y de investigaci\u00f3n de Cedenna, liderados por el Dr. Juliano Casagrande, Director del Programa de este Centro.<\/p><p>Se sumaron Khaled Awad, Jefe del Departamento de Gesti\u00f3n Estrat\u00e9gica de ANID; Patricio Osorio, Gerente Comercial y de Innovaci\u00f3n de Foremin; Xaviera Hern\u00e1ndez, Gestora de Transferencia Tecnol\u00f3gica de la DGT, y Jessica Catal\u00e1n, Ejecutiva Financiera de Administraci\u00f3n de Proyectos DGT, entre otros.<\/p><h2><strong>Soluci\u00f3n para la miner\u00eda <\/strong><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El encuentro tuvo por objetivo exponer los desaf\u00edos, metodolog\u00edas y principales resultados del proyecto de I+D, el cual busca resolver una de las grandes problem\u00e1ticas operativas en miner\u00eda: el desgaste y desprendimiento de los GET (Ground Engaging Tools), piezas de acero que recubren el balde de las palas mineras y lo protegen durante la extracci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p><p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cLos GET se desprenden por fatiga de material y pueden alcanzar el chancador primario, provocando detenciones no programadas con p\u00e9rdidas millonarias para la industria\u201d,<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> explic\u00f3 el Dr. Allende.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Frente a esta problem\u00e1tica, el equipo de investigaci\u00f3n desarroll\u00f3 sensores inal\u00e1mbricos capaces de detectar el desprendimiento y alertar a los operadores, enviando informaci\u00f3n en tiempo real, mediante una plataforma de comunicaci\u00f3n digital. Esto <strong>perm<\/strong><\/span><b>ite anticipar fallas y programar con antelaci\u00f3n el retiro o cambio de las piezas.<\/b><\/p><h2><b>Avances tecnol\u00f3gicos y validaci\u00f3n<\/b><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La presentaci\u00f3n de resultados estuvo a cargo del investigador, Dr. \u00c1lvaro Espejo, en la cual abord\u00f3 los cuatro m\u00e9todos de medici\u00f3n del desgaste que fueron evaluados.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adem\u00e1s, el investigador expuso el dise\u00f1o electr\u00f3nico del sensor de desgaste que se acopla al sensor de desprendimiento y\u00a0 el desarrollo del software que permite medir directamente el desgaste funcional. De acuerdo al acad\u00e9mico, todo este trabajo<strong> permiti\u00f3 generar un prototipo del sistema de monitoreo, que alcanza un nivel de madurez tecnol\u00f3gica cercano a TRL 6.<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El evento culmin\u00f3 con la intervenci\u00f3n de Dr. Omar Daud, quien r<strong>esalt\u00f3 otros hitos relevantes como la solicitud de patente en Chile y\u00a0 Estados Unidos, que busca proteger la tecnolog\u00eda; la estrecha colaboraci\u00f3n con las empresas Foremin y Dipper Parts, y la producci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica generada durante la investigaci\u00f3n.<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cabe destacar que, adem\u00e1s de los expositores del evento de cierre, el equipo de investigaci\u00f3n estuvo compuesto por la Dra.
