moleculares complejos, con aplicaciones que abarcan desde la qu\u00edmica atmosf\u00e9rica y ambiental hasta el desarrollo de nuevas metodolog\u00edas de investigaci\u00f3n. Sus proyectos abarcan el an\u00e1lisis de la interacci\u00f3n entre carbohidratos, l\u00edpidos, amino\u00e1cidos y prote\u00ednas en entornos biol\u00f3gicos, con especial \u00e9nfasis en fen\u00f3menos fotoqu\u00edmicos y fotof\u00edsicos. Entre sus \u00e1reas destacadas se incluyen: Dise\u00f1o de sondas fluorescentes para el estudio de membranas biol\u00f3gicas. Oxidaci\u00f3n de mol\u00e9culas pept\u00eddicas y s\u00edntesis de p\u00e9ptidos. Remoci\u00f3n de contaminantes atmosf\u00e9ricos y tratamiento de contaminantes en matrices acuosas mediante fotocatalizadores semiconductores. El enfoque del laboratorio es eminentemente multidisciplinario, integrando herramientas de qu\u00edmica, bioqu\u00edmica y f\u00edsica para abordar desaf\u00edos en los \u00e1mbitos ambiental y biom\u00e9dico. L\u00cdNEA DE INVESTIGACI\u00d3N Estudio de la oxidaci\u00f3n de antioxidantes, amino\u00e1cidos y prote\u00ednas inducida por radicales libres oxigenados y radicales fotoinducidos por t\u00e9cnicas de excitaci\u00f3n l\u00e1ser de nanosegundos de colorantes. Dise\u00f1o de rotores fluorescentes moleculares para determinaci\u00f3n de las propiedades de membranas lip\u00eddicas. Dise\u00f1o y s\u00edntesis de p\u00e9ptidos quim\u00e9ricos para el estudio de la interacci\u00f3n con membranas y su din\u00e1mica temporal mediante estudios de oxidaci\u00f3n r\u00e1pida. Desarrollo de semiconductores modificados (ZnO y TiO\u2082) mediante agentes dopantes y materiales h\u00edbridos con nanopart\u00edculas de oro y cobre para incrementar la eficiencia en aplicaciones catal\u00edticas. Evaluaci\u00f3n de la distribuci\u00f3n de productos e intermediarios, an\u00e1lisis de isotermas de adsorci\u00f3n y par\u00e1metros cin\u00e9ticos que intervienen en los procesos de degradaci\u00f3n. Qu\u00edmica atmosf\u00e9rica relacionada con la qu\u00edmica de las aguas de roc\u00edo de zonas urbanas. Estudio de trazadores proveniente de la quema de biomasa y su evoluci\u00f3n temporal.
