La colaboraci\u00f3n se da en el marco de la iniciativa para el fomento de la vinculaci\u00f3n internacional, impulsada por ANID, y que fue adjudicada por cient\u00edficos de la Usach.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2db2bd92 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2db2bd92\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"field field-name-post-date field-type-ds field-label-hidden\"><div class=\"field-items\"><div class=\"field-item even\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El Instituto Europeo de Membranas, de la Universidad de Montpellier, en Francia; la Universidad de Cantabria, en Santander, Espa\u00f1a; el Zuckerberg Institute for Water Research, de la Universidad Ben-Guri\u00f3n del N\u00e9guev, en Israel, y la Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica del Per\u00fa, ser\u00e1n las instituciones que aportar\u00e1n investigadores a la <\/span><b>\u201cRed de colaboraci\u00f3n internacional para la investigaci\u00f3n de tratamientos avanzados aplicables a aguas grises para su re\u00faso dom\u00e9stico, en el contexto de crisis h\u00eddrica global\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Esta red colaborativa surge en el marco del <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/anid.cl\/concursos\/concurso-de-fomento-a-la-vinculacion-internacional-para-instituciones-de-investigacion-2024\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cConcurso de Fomento a la Vinculaci\u00f3n Internacional para Instituciones de Investigaci\u00f3n\u201d<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, que fue lanzado por la <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/anid.cl\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ANID (Agencia Nacional de Investigaci\u00f3n y Desarrollo)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> y adjudicado por el equipo liderado por el Dr. Ricardo Abej\u00f3n, como investigador responsable, y la Dra. Camila Burgos, en el rol de co-investigadora responsable, ambos integrantes del <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.proyectoaguasgrises.usach.cl\/?q=es\/proyecto-greywater-treatment-and-reuse\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proyecto Greywater Reuse (GWR)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, liderado por la Usach.<\/span><\/p><p><b>\u201cEsta red va a permitir integrar todas las capacidades de las distintas instituciones, nacionales e internacionales, y as\u00ed poder buscar sinergias que nos faciliten desarrollar distintas opciones tecnol\u00f3gicas para el tratamiento y el re\u00faso de agua, y tener tambi\u00e9n la oportunidad de formar capital humano por medio de pasant\u00edas, intercambios y un seminario de difusi\u00f3n\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, sostiene el Dr. Ricardo Abej\u00f3n, subdirector del Proyecto Greywater Reuse (GWR), que integra a investigadores de tres universidades chilenas: Usach, UNAB y U. del B\u00edo-B\u00edo.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seg\u00fan destaca el acad\u00e9mico, a trav\u00e9s de esta red <\/span><b>\u201cesperamos afianzar lazos con expertos en tecnolog\u00edas de tratamiento de aguas y en an\u00e1lisis de ciclos de vida y generaci\u00f3n de indicadores ambientales. Adem\u00e1s, nos interesa contar con especialistas en reutilizaci\u00f3n de aguas grises que provienen de pa\u00edses que ya est\u00e1n en plena crisis h\u00eddrica y est\u00e1n aplicando tecnolog\u00edas de reutilizaci\u00f3n, como es el caso de Israel\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><h2><b>De expertos en membranas a an\u00e1lisis de ciclo de vida<\/b><\/h2><p><b>\u201cIntegrar las capacidades de los diferentes participantes de la red para generar la sinergia que contribuya al incremento del conocimiento cient\u00edfico-tecnol\u00f3gico y la formaci\u00f3n de capital humano, como agente de cambio frente al escenario clim\u00e1tico e h\u00eddrico actual\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, es uno de los objetivos de esta vinculaci\u00f3n, de la que se esperan importantes aportes a las tecnolog\u00edas propuestas por el Proyecto GWR, en sus distintos \u00e1mbitos.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Para concretar la colaboraci\u00f3n, se busc\u00f3 investigadores con los que ya hab\u00eda existido vinculaci\u00f3n previa y cuyos aportes cient\u00edficos son de alto valor para el Proyecto GWR. <\/span><b>\u201cEst\u00e1 considerado, por ejemplo, el Dr. Jos\u00e9 S\u00e1nchez Marcano, del Instituto Europeo de Membranas de Montpellier en Francia, quien ha investigado intensivamente en tecnolog\u00edas de membrana, que son fundamentales para obtener agua purificada. El Dr. S\u00e1nchez ha desarrollado modelos matem\u00e1ticos para su representaci\u00f3n durante a\u00f1os, lo que sin duda va a generar sinergias con los avances en membranas que ha tenido nuestro equipo\u201d, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">detalla el Dr. Ricardo Abej\u00f3n y precisa que<\/span><b> \u201cHay experiencias previas de pasant\u00edas de estudiantes de postgrado en los laboratorios del Dr. S\u00e1nchez y 19 art\u00edculos cient\u00edficos publicados en conjunto con el Dr. Julio Romero \u2013investigador Usach\u2013 en el desarrollo de membranas para diferentes aplicaciones industriales\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, sostiene.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Agrega que <\/span><b>\u201cest\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n el Dr. Amit Gross, quien es el director del Zuckerberg Institute for Water Research, en Israel, desde donde lleva a cabo investigaciones sobre tratamiento y reutilizaci\u00f3n de aguas grises, campo en el que es un verdadero experto a nivel mundial\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a quien se suma el Dr. Rub\u00e9n Aldaco, de la Universidad de Cantabria en Espa\u00f1a, quien <\/span><b>\u201ces director y coordinador de la Red Espa\u00f1ola de An\u00e1lisis de Ciclo de Vida y miembro de la Red Iberoamericana de An\u00e1lisis de Ciclo de Vida, con participaci\u00f3n en la Life Cycle Initiative del Programa Ambiental de Naciones Unidas (UNEP)\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finalmente, desde la Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica del Per\u00fa, se integra a la red el Dr. Ian V\u00e1zquez Rowe, quien es experto en el \u00e1rea de econom\u00eda circular, an\u00e1lisis de ciclo de vida y de indicadores como huella h\u00eddrica y de carbono en diferentes aplicaciones. <\/span><b>\u201cEsto permitir\u00eda integrar este an\u00e1lisis en los procesos de tratamiento y reutilizaci\u00f3n de aguas grises dom\u00e9sticas y la evaluaci\u00f3n de impactos a trav\u00e9s de la generaci\u00f3n de indicadores\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, concluye el Dr. Abej\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p><h2><b>Sobre el Proyecto GWR<\/b><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El proyecto Greywater Reuse plantea reusar aguas grises domiciliarias (que representan cerca del 65% de las aguas eliminadas desde los hogares) en el riego de muros y techos verdes, entre otros fines, mejorando la gesti\u00f3n del agua y obteniendo beneficios en aislaci\u00f3n t\u00e9rmica y ac\u00fastica de las viviendas. La iniciativa es financiada por el Proyecto Anillo de ANID.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Para probar la tecnolog\u00eda del proyecto, se construy\u00f3 una casa piloto de 60 m<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> en el Parque Tecnol\u00f3gico CTEC, de Corfo, ubicado en Laguna Car\u00e9n.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El equipo cient\u00edfico est\u00e1 compuesto por siete investigadores de las universidades de Santiago (5), Andr\u00e9s Bello (1) y del B\u00edo-B\u00edo
