class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>El Laboratorio de Microbiolog\u00eda Molecular, dirigido por los Doctores Carlos Vera y Felipe Arenas, se dedica a la identificaci\u00f3n y caracterizaci\u00f3n de bacterias resistentes a metales y metaloides, as\u00ed como a la s\u00edntesis de nanoestructuras de metales insolubles no t\u00f3xicos mediante procesos de biotransformaci\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s, se enfoca en la identificaci\u00f3n, clonaci\u00f3n, expresi\u00f3n y purificaci\u00f3n de enzimas de extrem\u00f3filos para su aplicaci\u00f3n en la industria biotecnol\u00f3gica.<\/p><p>Este laboratorio tambi\u00e9n se especializa en biocat\u00e1lisis y biotransformaciones, centr\u00e1ndose en el uso de glicosidasas para la revalorizaci\u00f3n de residuos. Sus investigaciones incluyen el estudio, desarrollo y optimizaci\u00f3n de la s\u00edntesis de compuestos de alto valor agregado a partir de carbohidratos, utilizando estrategias de ingenier\u00eda del biocatalizador e ingenier\u00eda de la reacci\u00f3n. Entre sus l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n activas se encuentran la s\u00edntesis de galacto-oligosac\u00e1ridos y alquil-galact\u00f3sidos, ambos con aplicaciones prebi\u00f3ticas y en la Este laboratorio tambi\u00e9n se especializa en biocat\u00e1lisis y biotransformaciones, centr\u00e1ndose en el uso de glicosidasas para la revalorizaci\u00f3n de residuos. Sus investigaciones incluyen el estudio, desarrollo y optimizaci\u00f3n de la s\u00edntesis de compuestos de alto valor agregado a partir de carbohidratos, utilizando estrategias de ingenier\u00eda del biocatalizador e ingenier\u00eda de la reacci\u00f3n.
