Esta innovadora tecnolog\u00eda cuenta con patente concedida en Chile, cuya tramitaci\u00f3n fue apoyada por la Direcci\u00f3n de Gesti\u00f3n Tecnol\u00f3gica de la VRIIC.<\/b><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-417c8c1d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"417c8c1d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chile se ha posicionado como uno de los <strong>pa\u00edses l\u00edderes en la comercializaci\u00f3n de vinos en el mundo<\/strong>, ocupando el primer lugar en Sudam\u00e9rica y el cuarto a nivel internacional. De acuerdo con<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.odepa.gob.cl\/rubros\/vinos-y-alcoholes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ODEPA<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, s\u00f3lo el a\u00f1o pasado las exportaciones de este producto rondaron los US $1.989 millones.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En t\u00e9rminos productivos, hoy <strong>la superficie total de vi\u00f1as destinadas para la vinificaci\u00f3n sobrepasa las 130 mil hect\u00e1reas<\/strong>, las cuales potencialmente pueden generar m\u00e1s de 1200 millones de litros de vino al a\u00f1o.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Si bien la industria vitivin\u00edcola nacional ha venido en constante crecimiento, existen diversos desaf\u00edos por resolver en relaci\u00f3n con sus procesos productivos. Uno de estos retos es la incorporaci\u00f3n de nuevas mejoras en la fermentaci\u00f3n, espec\u00edficamente durante la extracci\u00f3n de los orujos de uva que quedan alojados en el fondo de las cubas. Dicha labor es realizada en forma manual por una o dos personas en el interior de la barrica, utilizando palas y rastrillos.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sin embargo, <strong>ese sistema puede representar riesgos laborales y sanitarios para las y los trabajadores<\/strong>, pues se exponen a la baja luminosidad, alta humedad y la concentraci\u00f3n de gases nocivos de las barricas.\u00a0 Asimismo, este tipo de operaci\u00f3n es lenta, pues en el caso de las cubas grandes demora cerca de 4 horas, retrasando toda la cadena productiva.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Para abordar estos desaf\u00edos de la industria vitivin\u00edcola, un <strong>equipo de investigaci\u00f3n de la Universidad de Santiago de Chile trabaj\u00f3 en el desarrollo de un aparato para facilitar el retiro del orujo de uva<\/strong>, siendo operado completamente desde el exterior de las cubas.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El grupo de investigaci\u00f3n fue liderado por el <strong>Dr. Lucio Ca\u00f1ete Arratia<\/strong>, acad\u00e9mico e investigador del Dpto. de Tecnolog\u00edas Industriales de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.factec.usach.cl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facultad Tecnol\u00f3gica<\/a> . Se sumaron al proyecto, los profesores <strong>H\u00e9ctor Barrera Z\u00fa\u00f1iga<\/strong>, del Dpto. de Tecnolog\u00edas Industriales y <strong>Andr\u00e9s P\u00e9rez de Arce<\/strong> del Dpto. de Gesti\u00f3n Agraria, ambos de la Fac. Tecnol\u00f3gica, y el <strong>Dr. Enrique San Juan Urrutia<\/strong>, acad\u00e9mico del Depto. de Ingenier\u00eda El\u00e9ctrica de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fing.usach.cl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fac. de Ingenier\u00eda<\/a>.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tal como explica el Dr. Lucio Ca\u00f1ete, el aparato <em>\u201cest\u00e1 conformado por una lanza de aspiraci\u00f3n que con un extremo enfrenta al orujo, mientras que el otro extremo se conecta a un decantador acumulador, el cual posee un ducto de egreso conectado a una aspiradora industrial que succiona del orujo desde la cuba, deposit\u00e1ndolo en el decantador acumulador\u201d<\/em>.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En ese contexto, el investigador comenta que esta tecnolog\u00eda desarrollada en nuestro Plantel\u00a0 <em>\u201cno s\u00f3lo acelera el proceso productivo, sino adem\u00e1s disminuyen los riesgos laborales y sanitarios, pues la operaci\u00f3n de retiro se realiza totalmente del exterior\u201d<\/em>.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En la actualidad, esta tecnolog\u00eda USACH se encuentra con patente concedida en Chile,
